Born Feb. 28, 1938 in Elizabeth City, N.C., Paul Winslow played football at NCCU from 1956-59, and was a part of the Eagles’ 1956 CIAA championship team.

After NCCU, Winslow was selected in the 1960 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers. His rookie campaign under legendary coach Vince Lombardi was highlighted by a fumble return for a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 17, 1960.

He was inducted into the NCCU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986.

Winslow passed away on May 10, 2012, at the age of 74.
