Football Game Day Information

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
All patrons shall comply with sportsmanship principles outlined in NCAA Constitution, Article 1, C.
Guest conduct is expected to be of a respectful level prior to, during, and after each competition.
North Carolina Central University Athletics is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable game day experience. Guests are responsible for their own behavior and the behavior of those who use their tickets. The following is expected regarding fan conduct:
 
Safety
Adhere to all campus/venue protocols and regulations

  • Guests must observe prohibited items lists, bag policies and venue-specific policies.
  • Comply with venue personnel instructions
  • Adhere to instruction by security, ushers, police and other authorized personnel.
  • Present ticket upon request, at any time within the venue. 
  • If you experience an injury while on campus or at a venue, seek our first aid stations located near the concession stands on both sides of the stadium. Seek venue personnel or police if you need help to these locations. Medical professionals at the venue will determine if further emergency services are needed or to have you transported off campus to the nearest medical facility.

Courtesy
Represent the Eagle Pride with honor, dignity and respect

  • Interference with the playing surface is prohibited (i.e. throwing objects, addressing officials or players, encroachment of field of play, etc.).
  • Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, biphobia or otherwise offensive language and behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Verbal, physical or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited.

Be a positive role model for those around you.

Collaboration
Positively cheer for your team.
Refrain from negative/taunting remarks.
When appropriate, fans should stand and cheer following the flow of the game.

Non-compliance with the above code of conduct may warrant ejection from the venue. Ticketholders are responsible for the conduct and behavior of individuals using their tickets. Guests who do not adhere to the above policy could face loss of ticket-buying privileges or revocation and suspension of tickets. Visibly impaired or intoxicated patrons will not be tolerated. Additional consequences may include arrest or prosecution.

PARKING 

  • Student Parking: Parking for students is available in the lower and upper lots of the Mary Townes Science Complex and C.C. Spaulding Elementary School with a valid residential parking permit.
  • Rideshare/Taxi Services: If you plan to use Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, or other food delivery services, your designated drop-off/pick-up location will be Cecil Street at the NCCU Student Center Driveway. Please do not ask rideshare vendors to come on campus because they will not be able to with the game.
  • It is encouraged for all visitors to purchase game-day parking permits online. Individuals desiring to park in the Latham Parking Deck must obtain a game-day parking permit here: https://app.parkmobile.io/venue/o-kelly-riddick-stadium/events. 
  • Parking hangtag required to park in any of the campus surface lots. Surface lots are only sold as season packages.

STADIUM ENTRY

Tickets: NCCU has moved to digital ticketing. Tickets can be printed from home or saved to your smartphone's mobile wallet. Guides to print your tickets from home and save to your phone's wallet are below.


NCCU Student Entry: The entry gate for NCCU students is located at the O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium main gate located on Eagle Campus Drive, between the Student Services and Physical Plant buildings. 
 
Cashless Transactions: Fans will be required to use a credit card, debit card or mobile payment for all purchases including parking.
 
Lawn Tickets: Lawn tickets are for the lawn area of the stadium, located on the track and practice field directly next to the stadium and game field. Lawn ticket holders DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE STADIUM. Lawn ticket holders are able to bring a lawn chair to the lawn area. Entry to the lawn area is located at Gate #1 on Lawson Street.

Stadium Policies: 

  • Reserved seating areas will be monitored by event staff. If entering a reserved seating area, please have your ticket ready for the event staff to confirm.
  • The ADA Section in the Southwest corner is only available for handicap patrons and one companion.
  • The Lawn area of the stadium, located at the track next to the North end zone, still adheres to all stadium policies, except that lawn chairs are allowed. Lawn tickets do not have a seat in the stadium.
  • Failure to follow any stadium policies may result in removal from the stadium.

Security Check: Before entering the game, individuals will be required to go through a security check. The following items are NOT ALLOWED in the O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium:

  • Umbrellas: Fans may not bring umbrellas.
  • Food or beverages: Fans may not bring food or beverages.
  • Cushion Seats: Cushion seat backs must be less than 17" x 9.5".
  • Bags: Fans must adhere to the Department of Athletics' clear bag policy. All permissible bags will be checked upon entry into the stadium. All bags must by clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and less than 12" x 12"x 6" – exceptions will be made for medical and baby needs. Small wristlets/clutches (less than 4.5" x 6.5" x 1") with or without a strap are permitted.
