Jordan Bohannon carded a 1-over-par 73 in Sunday's final round of the 31st PGA Minority Collegiate Championship at The PGA Club to place 10th on the Division I leaderboard, while the Eagles finished fifth in the team standings.
Bohannon, out of Southfield, Michigan, posted rounds of 77, 75 and 73 for a 225 total. Sophomore
Samuel Bradley (Sanford, N.C.) was steady in his first trip to the PGA event with scores of 77, 76 and 78. Junior
Zane Lewis (Sanford, N.C.) shot 235 (81-75-79), senior
Sumner Tate (Raleigh, N.C. - who skipped his graduation ceremony to compete in the PGA championship with his teammates) tallied a 243 (80-79-84), while freshman
Nathan Corley (Farmington Hills, Mich.) recorded a 244 (79, 81, 84).
NCCU (313-305-314—932) finished two strokes ahead of sixth-place Florida A&M (934) and just six shots out of third place.
