DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central men's and women's golf teams will compete in separate tournaments in Williamsburg, Va., on Monday and Tuesday (March 23-24).
The NCCU men will play in the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Course while the Eagles' women will participate in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate at Kingsmill Resort. Monday's tee time at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate is 9 a.m. while tee time at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate is to be determined.

The Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate features a 13-team field including Lafayette, Towson, Robert Morris, Navy, Liberty, Saint Joseph's, Villanova, Longwood, St. Bonaventure, Delaware and Georgetown in addition to NCCU and host William & Mary.
The Kingsmill Intercollegiate consists of 15 teams including Dartmouth, Radford, Eastern Illinois, Maryland Eastern Shore, Mount St. Mary's, Navy, Sacred Heart, Le Moyne, Monmouth, North Carolina A&T, Towson, Long Island, Holy Cross, NCCU and host William & Mary.
The NCCU men are led by junior
Jamal Hutchison and sophomore
Mateo Zolezzi. Hutchison tops the team with a 73.8 adjusted scoring average followed by Zolezzi with a 75.6 average through five tournaments this season.
On the women's side, freshman Sanaa Carter and senior Sidney Renville pace the Eagles. Carter leads the team with a 76.9 adjusted scoring average and Renville holds a 78.8 average through four tournaments.
