NCCU CAREER (2014-17):
Finished three-year NCCU career with scoring average of 79.5 (57 rounds, 4,531 strokes).
AS A SENIOR (2016-17):
Played 23 rounds in eight events. Achieved a scoring average of 79.7. Carded season low scores of 71 (-1) in back-to-back rounds at the National HBCU Hall of Fame Invitational (Sept. 23-24) to tie for fifth place out of 69 golfers. Tallied 12 rounds in the 70s.Â
AS A JUNIOR (2015-16):
Played in 20 rounds during eight events. Posted a scoring average of 79.5 shots per round. Carded low rounds of 73 in opening two rounds of the Bash at the Beach event (March 7-8), adding a 74 to tie for 39th place in a field of 111 golfers. Accounted for 11 rounds in the 70s. Received Coach's Award.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15):
Competed in 14 rounds during six events. Recorded a scoring average of 79.3 strokes per round. Posted scores in the 70s seven times, including a season-low, 1-under-par 71 in the final round of the PGA Minority Collegiate Championship (May 10) to tie for 13th place on the individual leaderboard.
TRANSFER (Louisburg College)
Transferred to NCCU from Louisburg College.
HIGH SCHOOL (Southeast Raleigh)
Four-time Greater Neuse River 4-A All-Conference honoree in golf (2009,2010,2011,2012). Selected as the Team's Most Valuable Golfer all four seasons. Posted a scoring average of 74.5 as a senior. Also earned all-conference recognition four times in soccer and three times in football. Recipient of the Southeast Raleigh Bulldog Award (2011).  As a football kicker, made 19-of-20 career field goal attempts with a long of 47 yards. Holds kicking records at Southeast Raleigh High School. Named 2011 Greater Neuse River 4-A Special Teams Player of the Year (Football).
PERSONAL
Born March 10, 1994 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Parents are Rick and Sharon Tate. Major at NCCU is mass communication with a concentration in broadcasting.
