STARTING FIVE:
1. 9-5 is NCCU's best non-conference record in the Division-I era.
2. NCCU is currently on a 12-game win streak, the third streak of 10 games or more in the Division I era.
3. NCCU is 339-276 all-time against the MEAC.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
Bethune-Cookman is currently 4-9 in MEAC play, and have won its last two games, both at home. The Wildcats are led by one of the league's top scorers in Brandon Tabb, averaging 18.5 points per game. Tabb put in 22 points in the B-CU's last game, a 75-65 win over Norfolk State. NCCU split the series with B-CU last year, winning at home and losing in Daytona Beach, Fla. in the final meeting of the season. This is the only scheduled meeting between the two teams this season.
SERIES: NCCU leads, 9-5.
SCOUTING THE BISON:
Savannah State is 7-6 in the MEAC entering the weekend, and the Tigers are the highest scoring team in the league, at about 84.8 points per contest, but have dropped their last four games. Troyce Manassa is within the top-10 in scoring in the conference with 16.6 points per game for the Tigers. Manassa poured in 22 points in the last game for the Tigers, an 84-83 loss at Coppin State.
