Career Notes:
Played 63 games and started 51, averaged 25.1 minutes per game. Finished his career in the top-10 of points scored in the Division-I era with 714, and in points per game at 11.3. Also finished top-five in free throw percentage at 76.0, and second in assists (293) and assists per game (4.7) in the Division-I era.
As a Redshirt Senior (2016-17)
Second Team All-MEAC, NABC All-District 15 Second Team, BOXTOROW All-American, and MEAC All-Tournament Team selection. Started all 34 games and averaged 35.5 minutes per game. Averaged 14.3 points and 5.2 assists per game. Named College Sports Madness MEAC Player of the Week on Jan. 2 when he averaged 24.0 points and 6.0 assists per game against Montreat and Truett McConnell. Played 35+ minutes 25 times and 40 minutes 10 times. Finished second in the league in assists and was top-10 in field goal percentage (49.1), free throw percentage (78.0), and steals (1.2). Led the Eagles in scoring eight times including a career-high 26 points against Truett McConnell (Dec. 28) where he went 11-for-18 from the floor. Shot 39.5 percent from the arc to finish in the top-five of the NCCU single-season records in the Division-I era. Scored in double-figures in all but four games, and notched two double-doubles with 15 points and 11 rebounds against Jackson State (Nov. 18) and 11 points and 10 boards against North Carolina A&T (Jan. 28).
As a Redshirt Junior (2015-16)
Appeared in 29 games and started 17 while averaging 29.1 points per game. Led the team in assists with 4.0 per game, and averaged 7.8 points per game with 3.0 rebounds. Played 35+ minutes nine times and 40 minutes three times. Finished in the top-five of the MEAC in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.7. Dropped a season-high 21 points against UMES (Dec. 5), and collected a season-high nine assists against MVSU (Dec. 3). Led team in assists a team-best 14 times and in scoring three times, and did so twice in back-to-back games with 21 points against UMES and 19 points against Howard (Dec. 7).

As a Sophomore (2013-14):
Recorded the best assist-to-turnover ratio on the team in conference games (2.4). Scored double-figure points four times. Recorded five or more assists on three occasions. Finished third on the team with 31 steals. More than doubled his scoring average from 2012-2013 (2.3). Led the team in assists on four occasions. Scored a career-high 13 points in a win against Lipscomb on Jan. 1. Tied an A-Sun career high with six assists in a victory over UNF on Jan. 9. Started his first career game against Ave Maria on Nov. 23. Appeared in all 35 games. Set a career high and finished one steal shy of the A-Sun Championship record for steals when he recorded six in the quarterfinals against Stetson (Mar. 4).
As a Freshman (2013-14):
Appeared in 37 games. Averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest in 13 minutes played per game. Shot 38.8 percent from the field. Played a season-high 27 minutes against Ave Maria on Nov. 15. Scored a season high 11 points on March 2 against Kennesaw State. Recorded a season-high four steals against Jacksonville on Jan. 5.
High School (Phillip O. Berry Academy)
Started for the West Squad in the Jordan Brand Classic regional game following senior season. Went for 10 points, four rebounds and three steals over 26 minutes. Led Phillip O. Berry Academy to a 69-19 record and a pair of North Carolina Section 2A Championships (2010, 11) over three seasons as starting point guard. Reached double figures 72 times and had eight double-doubles over the three years. As a senior, posted averages of 17.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.6 steals. Reached double figures in 25 of 26 games, including eight 20-point outings. Earned a rating of 86 by ESPN.com, ranking him as the No. 44 point guard. As a junior in 2010-11, he averaged team-highs of 15.4 points, 3.7 assists and 2.7 steals to lead the Cardinal to a 27-3 record and second straight N.C. Section 2A Championship. Named the Rocky River Conference Player of the Year and All-Western Region squad selection. Reached double figures 22 times, highlighted by a career-high 36 points in the season opener against Garinger HS. Burst onto the scene in 2009-10 as a sophomore, averaging 13.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.1 steals per game to help lead Phillip O. Berry Academy to a 24-8 mark and first of two N.C. Section 2A Championships during his career.
