KOHLER, Wisc. – The North Carolina Central women's golf team concluded its season by placing fifth out of eight teams in the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship at Whistling Straits Golf Course on Wednesday.
The Eagles, who started the day in third place, shot a three-day score of 980 to finish above three squads in the team standings. Individually,
Trinity Ahing tied for 11
th with a 237 score and
Sidney Renville placed 17
th with a 241 score.
Cailynn Winford tied for 24
th with a 250 score and
Aubree Clements was 27
th with a 252 score.
Overall, forty-two (42) golfers competed in the tournament on the par 72, 5,807-yard course. North Carolina A&T was the team champion with a 934 score and Ekaterina Prokhorova of A&T was the individual medalist with a 226 score.
