SOMERSET, N.J. – Trinity Ahing of North Carolina Central was one of four players named Northeast Conference Women's Golf Prime Performer of the Week on Wednesday, March 5.

Ahing finished strong at the Lady Bison Invitational this week (March 3-4) to earn the honor. She shot a 10-over 81 in the first round but fired a five-over 76 and a one-over 72 in the final two rounds to tie for 11^th individually out of 57 golfers. Her total score of 16-over 229 sparked the Eagles to a fifth-place tie in the team standings. Ten teams competed in the tournament.

Her overall average score was 76.3 on the par 71, 5,908-yard Hawkstone Country Club course located in Gainesville, Fla.
