Women's Golf NCCU Athletic Communications

NCCU To Play In Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday

DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central women's golf team will compete in the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate on Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, at the Mimosa Hills Golf and Country Club in Morganton, N.C. Tee time is 9 a.m. on Monday and 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Ten teams, including NCCU, are scheduled to play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday on the par 72, 6,130-yard course layout. The teams are The Citadel, Tennessee Tech, North Carolina A&T, Western Carolina, Wofford, Gardner-Webb, USC Beaufort, Presbyterian, NCCU and Appalachian State, which is the host team.

The NCCU golfers will be Cailynn Winford, Mya Smith, Aubree Clements, Josefina Rendo and Trinity Ahing. Winford was named Northeast Conference women's golfer of the week last Wednesday.
