Jalea Culliver and sophomore
Sidney Renville both scored team-low rounds for the Eagles.
This was the second 54-hole tournament that women's golf has played this season. NC Central recorded 328-331-314 rounds for a team score of 973, placing 18th.
Culliver led the charge, firing 77-82-73 rounds for a total score of 232, tying for 53rd and collecting seven birdies. Junior
Trinity Ahing finished tied for 92nd, posting an 84-86-76 totaling 246.
Renville and freshman
Cailynn Winford weren't far behind as they finished tied for 95th and 97th respectively, within one shot of each other. Junior
Fatima Smith scored 340 to wrap up the final round.
As previously mentioned, NCCU has a quick turnaround for their next tournament as they battle in the SAS Championship HBCU Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 14-15. The event will take place at the Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, N.C.
