Durham, N.C. – North Carolina Central University will play a pair of games in the Bull City this midweek as the Eagles host Presbyterian College on Tuesday, April 12, and then head into the heart of downtown Durham to face Duke University on Wednesday, April 13.
NCCU (17-18, 5-7 MEAC) picked up a weekend series win at UNC Asheville over the past weekend, and posted a 4-1 record over the last week of play.

Ellington Hopkins (Lansing, N.Y.) is in the top-10 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in on base percentage at .452 and is in the top-five in runs scored with 35. He is second on the team with a .331 batting average behind
James Dey (Charlotte, N.C.) who is hitting .347 and has picked up nine extra-base hits with seven doubles and two home runs.
Presbyterian (18-13, 5-4 Big South) won the matchup with NCCU in Clinton, South Carolina by a final score of 15-6, and Weston Jackson (Greer, S.C.) lifted a homer in that contest. Jackson is one of the best hitters in the Big South Conference, and sits in the top-10 of multiple categories.
Jackson leads the league in slugging percentage at .701, third in RBI with 36 and fourth in batting average at .402. He also has a total of 26 extra-base hits with 17 doubles, three triples, and six homers, and is in the top five of the Big South in each category.
Duke (17-15, 6-9 ACC) has been on a tear recently, and has won five of its last six games including conference series wins over Georgia Tech and No. 18 Clemson University. Jack Labosky (Clovis, Calif.) has been the spark plug for the Blue Devils as he has generated a team-high 27 RBI. Labosky has hit a team-best four homers with nine doubles and a triple, and is slugging .486.
