Aissa Muamba was winning both of her matches but they were never completed for the North Carolina Central University women's tennis team as host UNC Asheville was credited with the 5-0 non-conference win on Sunday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club.
The Bulldogs snapped a two-game skid to improve to 5-3 overall. The Lady Eagles dip to 0-5.

Jamie Rogers were winning the top doubles bout 4-3 when play was stopped after the team point was decided in favor of the hosts.
The Bulldogs added four singles wins in straight sets on courts two, three, five and six to sweep all completed matches.
Muamba, who is the reigning MEAC Player of the Week, won her first set but was unable to have a chance at her second straight win when play was stopped at 6-4, 1-2.
Junior
Lynsey Cover was rallying in her fourth-singles tilt when her contest was cut short. Cover lost the opening set 6-4 but was leading the next set 4-1.
NCCU begins Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play on Friday, when the Lady Eagles entertain rival North Carolina A&T State University at Noon.
