NCCU Men's and Women's Golf To Compete At HBCU Classic

DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central men's and women's golf teams will play in the Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Classic on Monday (Sept. 22) and Tuesday (Sept. 23) at Laurel Springs Golf Course in Suwanee, Ga. Tee time is 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start both days.

PARTICIPANTS
The NCCU men will match up against Southern, Chicago State, North Carolina A&T, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Alabama A&M, Texas Southern and Jackson State. The women's field includes Delaware State, Paine, Texas Southern, Southern, Savannah State, Fisk, Chicago State and Jackson State in addition to the Eagles.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The men's and women's formats are 36-hole stroke play with teams playing 18 holes each day on the par 71 course. The yardage is approximately 6,800 for the men and 5,600 for the women.
