GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior
Daniel Barbare won on his Senior Day in the closest match of the day, helping the North Carolina Central University men's golf team secure a 3-3 match-play tie against Prairie View A&M University at The Cardinal on Saturday.

Juniors
Kendall Wallace and
Trey Morse also collected match-play wins for the Eagles on the same March Madness weekend that the top professionals are playing in the lone match-play event on the PGA Tour.
Barbare was recognized before the match as NCCU's lone senior. Barbare defeated Rondarius Walters by the narrowest of margins, 1 UP, for his team point. The local Raleigh, North Carolina, resident has been one of NCCU's all-time most awarded men's golfers in program history.
Morse notched up the most convincing win for the Eagles, defeating Jordan Stagg by a 5 & 3 score. Wallace got in the win column with a 2 & 1 triumph over Jaden Thompson.
The Panthers secured the other three matches to earn the 'all square' team score.
NC Central will next change venues in Greensboro, North Carolina, as the Eagles return to stroke play competition at the Aggie Invitational contested at Bryan Park on Monday-Tuesday, March 27-28.
