DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University baseball program will be back at home on Friday, April 9 at the Durham Athletic Park to host North Carolina A&T in a MEAC Southern Division series after a six-game road swing.
NCCU and NCAT met earlier in the season, and split a four-game series with the Aggies at War Memorial Stadium on March 20 and 21. The series will begin with a single game on Friday, April 9 at 4:00 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, April 10 that will begin at 1:00 p.m. The series will conclude with a single game on Sunday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m.
This is the only time the Eagles and Aggies are scheduled to meet in Durham this season.

Scouting the Eagles:
NCCU has an overall record of 10-9, and is 2-2 in MEAC Southern Division play after splitting its league-opening series with North Carolina A&T on March 20 and 21. The Eagles as a team have the second-highest on-base percentage in the league at .386, and have the best ERA in the MEAC at 5.40.

Ryan Miller (Blandon, Pa.) currently has a 4-0 record in five starts, and has a league-best 0.90 ERA in 30.0 innings pitched. He has pitched the third-most innings pitched in the MEAC, and the fourth-most strikeouts with 35. Teammate

Cameron Norgren (Cary, N.C.) swatted his second home run of the year during the midweek game against Duke to tie for the team lead, and he now has a .297 batting average on a team-best 19 hits. He also has a .438 slugging percentage, and .420 on-base percentage. Freshman catcher
Chet Sikes (Trinity, N.C.) continues to lead the team in batting average at .315, and he picked up his team-leading fifth double of the year against the Blue Devils on Tuesday.
Scouting the Aggies:
NCAT is 7-21 overall, and is 2-6 in MEAC Southern Division play. The Aggies will be wrapping up a 12-game road swing during this weekend series after trips to Florida A&M and, most recently, Baylor. NCAT has collected the most hits in the league as a team with 121, and have the most hits with 219.
Cameran Brantley (Charlotte, N.C.) leads NCAT at the plate with a .316 batting average, and he has the second-most hits in the league with 30. He has knocked four doubles, one triple, and two home runs for a .442 slugging percentage, and has drawn 25 walks for a .455 on-base percentage.
Evan Gates (Roseville, Mich.) has registered the second-most strikeouts in the MEAC with 42, and he also has two saves. He has pitched a total of 25.0 innings in 13 appearances, and has a 2.16 ERA. Michael Johnson (Lexington, N.C.) has carried a big workload with seven starts, and he's thrown a staff-high 39.0 innings. He has also struck out 28 batters, and has thrown one complete game.
