GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina Central University was held without a hit until a solo home run from Jake Raby in the top of the sixth inning, but North Carolina A&T scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth on the way to a 5-3 decision for the host Aggies on Saturday.
The loss snaps a seven-game win streak for the Eagles, who are now 12-4 and 2-1 in the MEAC after beating NC A&T twice on Friday.
Raby picked up a pair of extra-base hits and touched home twice in the contest.
NCCU next hosts Appalachian State on Tuesday, March 13 at the Durham Athletic Park at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
