WILMINGTON, N.C. – Sophomore Jasmine Gabriel and freshman Emily Pena won a doubles match for visiting North Carolina Central University in a 7-0 non-conference dual match loss to UNC Wilmington Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Seahawks swept all six singles matches to post a perfect team score on their Senior Day. UNCW improved to 9-6 overall.
 
Gabriel and Pena got in the win column in the middle doubles match, disposing of their opposition by a 6-4 margin. The maroon and gray duo leveled their record together at 4-4.
 
However, UNCW picked up the first team point with 6-4 and 6-1 wins in the first and third doubles flights, respectively.
 
Gabriel was the closest Lady Eagle to claiming a set win in her 6-1, 7-5 singles loss on court two.
 
NCCU (2-17) will conclude its season with a road match at Radford University on Saturday.
