GAME NOTES: #NCCUMBB Looks For Revenge Against Aggies and Hornets

DURHAM, N.C. - North Carolina Central University will be looking to set the record straight against North Carolina A&T and Delaware State over the weekend of Jan. 28-30, as the Eagles host the Aggies on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 4:00 p.m. at McDougald-McLendon Arena before traveling to Dover, Del. to see the Hornets on Monday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m.  The Eagles fell against both teams in the last matchup, and will look for victories this time around.

STARTING FIVE:
1. 9-5 is NCCU's best non-conference record in the Division-I era.
2. NCCU's five-game win streak that was snapped by ECU was the longest since the 2014-15 season with a 10-game and nine-game run.
3. NCCU is 331-276 all-time against the MEAC.
4. Coach Moton is 77-24 all-time in regular season MEAC play.
5. NCCU went 7-9 in conference play last year.
 
SCOUTING THE AGGIES:
North Carolina A&T has had a turbulent season so far, and are currently on a losing streak.  The Aggies are led by Sam Hunt who is averaging 13.4 points and 1.7 assists per game.  Hunt chipped in 10 points in the last game against Howard, a 78-63 loss.  The Aggies took both meetings last year, so the Eagles will be looking for revenge against their rival.
 
SERIES: NC A&T leads, 77-71.
 
SCOUTING THE HORNETS:
Delaware State has gone 0-4 in MEAC play since defeating NCCU at the last second, 79-78 in Durham on Jan. 10.  Devin Morgan continues to lead the Hornets in scoring with 14.5 points per game, and he had a team-high 16 points last time out in a 94-79 loss to Savannah State.
 
SERIES: NCCU leads, 19-16.
