DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University settles in at the Durham Athletic Park with eight consecutive home games, starting with a Southern Division series with Bethune-Cookman that begins on Saturday, March 19.

NCCU (9-9, 2-1 MEAC) is currently second in the Southern Division of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference after the first weekend of conference play, and B-CU (6-11, 0-3 MEAC) looks for its first league win after being swept by rival Florida A&M in its division opener.

Zachary Marszal (Cary, Ill.) is one of the top RBI producers for the Eagles this season, as he's driven in 12 runs and has racked up five extra base hits.  He has 17 hits and 12 runs scored, along with three doubles, a triple and a home run.

Alex Dandridge (Arlington, Texas) anchors the rotation with a 2-1 record over his first four starts, and keeps a rotation-best 2.86 ERA.  Over 22 complete innings thrown he has racked up 15 strikeouts, and only allows opponents to bat .169 against him which is best on the staff.

B-CU brings a hot bat in the hands of Jameel Edney (West Palm Beach, Fla.) who has tallied a team-high 12 RBI and 32 total bases.  Edney is hitting .339 and is slugging .516 with a pair of home runs and five doubles.

The Wildcats have a pair of starters who have earned MEAC weekly honors with Tyler Norris (Coral Springs, Fla.) leading the way.  Norris has a 2.60 ERA over four appearances and three starts, and has completed 17 and one-third of an inning on the mound.  He has fanned a team-high 22 batters, and has only seen five earned runs touch the plate.
