THE GAME: NCCU looks to take charge against the  Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman for Senior Day at McDougald-McLendon Arena.  The Eagles will try to break B-CU's three-game winning streak in their final Saturday home game of the season.
 
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
-Bethune-Cookman picked up an 11-21 record last season and went 7-9 against MEAC opponents.  The Wildcats were seeded seventh for the conference tournament, but bowed out in the first round against Coppin State, 64-60.
-The Wildcats have Jordan Potts (Columbus, Ohio) at the head of the pack, averaging 16.6 points per game with a team-leading 4.6 assists per contest.  Mario Moody (East Orange, N.J.) is a big factor with 12.5 points and 7.2 boards per outing, and LaRon Smith (Palm Bay, Fla.) pulls down a team-high 7.3 caroms per game.
-Bethune-Cookman is currently riding a three-game win streak starting with an 88-56 win over rival Florida A&M (Jan. 30) and last took down Delaware State 85-56 on Feb. 6.  Diamante Lewis (Ocala, Fla.) posted a game-high 21 points , and Smith earned a massive 10 point, 15 rebound double-double.  B-CU finisehd the game with four players in double figures.
 
SERIES: NCCU leads, 8-4.
 
NCCU VS. BETHUNE-COOKMAN:
NCCU holds an 8-4 all-time lead over the Wildcats, and have won the last six meetings.  The most pivotal matchup in the series came during the 2012 MEAC Tournament, where a late charge call allowed Bethune-Cookman to escape with a 60-59 win in NCCU's first Division I season.  NCCU has won each game after that.
