SAVANNAH, Ga. – North Carolina Central University finished in the middle of the pack among a tournament field of six MEAC men's golf teams at the Savannah State University Tiger Fall Invitational, rallying for a third-place tie on Tuesday at Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, Georgia.

Jordan Bohannon finished in a tie for ninth place on the individual leaderboard with scores of 73-77-79 (+13). Fellow junior
Zane Lewis was close behind in 11th place (74-77-79), followed by sophomore
Samuel Bradley in a tie for 12th place (79-78-74) and senior
Sumner Tate in 21st place (81-79-76).
NCCU held a one-shot lead after recording a team score of 304 in the opening round on Monday. The Eagles fell back to fourth with a 311 on Monday afternoon, but then Tuesday's 308 was seven strokes better than Hampton to tie with the Pirates for third with a 923 total score.
Bethune-Cookman won the invitational with a 902, while event host Savannah State was the runner-up at 914. NCCU finished ahead of Florida A&M (943) and Maryland Eastern Shore (984).
