CLINTON, S.C. – The North Carolina Central University women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Presbyterian College on Saturday.
NCCU junior
Aissa Muamba stayed unbeaten at No. 1 singles with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Greer Ransom. Muamba also teamed up with junior
Mia Ramic to win the No. 1 doubles match.
Ramic battled at the No. 2 singles spot against Presbyterian's Brittany Nuttall, as the Lady Eagle dropped a first-set tiebreaker 7-5, then won the second set 6-4, but lost a third-set thriller 11-9.

Ekaterina Nekrasova earned the other point for the Lady Eagles with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles.
NCCU's overall record slips to 0-3, while Presbyterian improves to 2-0.
The Lady Eagles return to action on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina.
