DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University women's tennis team kicks off the 2015 spring season this weekend as the Lady Eagles take on Wofford College and Liberty University on Saturday and Sunday, Jan 17-18 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
The Lady Eagles are under the direction of new interim head coach
Hans Olsen. Olsen comes to NCCU with 18 years of NCAA Division I head coaching experience from N.C. State and Charleston Southern. Olsen is replacing former head coach
David Nass after he announced his retirement in November 2014 after 17 years at NCCU.
The Lady Eagles have their top four singles players returning this spring in senior
Rebecca Wood, senior
Ekaterina Nekrasova, junior
Aissa Muamba, and junior
Mia Ramic.
