DURHAM, N.C. – Snowstorms in and around the Staten Island area of New York forced game officials to cancel the third matchup between North Carolina Central University men's basketball and Wagner.

The storm that hit the northeast piled as much 14 inches of snow in some areas.  States on the way up north like Maryland and Delaware also were hit with a significant amount of snow which caused for major travel concerns.

The contest will not be rescheduled at this time.

NCCU (7-4) will have the weekend off before taking on the Pirates of Hampton University in a nonconference affair on Tuesday night from McDougald-McLendon Gym at 7:00 p.m.
