DURHAM, N.C. – Due to the possibility of inclement weather North Carolina Central University’s baseball program has announced changes to the weekend series against Presbyterian College, as Friday’s single game has been added to Saturday, Feb. 23 as the Blue Hose and the Eagles will now compete in a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. from the Durham Athletic Park.
Local weather reports are calling for an increasing chance of rain and the possibility of a wintry mix around the Triangle on Thursday night/Friday morning forcing game officials to make a change. Rain is still in the forecast for Saturday morning but is expected to clear as the day goes on.
Should the weather cause more issues, NCCU head baseball coach and the game officials may be forced to play a doubleheader on Sunday if Saturday gets washed out as well.
