JEREMY INGRAM:  MEAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK... AGAIN
For the second time this season, North Carolina Central University senior guard Jeremy Ingram (Charlotte, N.C.) has been named MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for his performance on the hardwood for the maroon and gray, the league announced Monday.  In two games last week, Ingram averaged 30.5 points, shot 58.8 percent from the field (20-for-34), and shot a stellar 50 percent from three-point range (9-for-18) as the Eagles went 1-1.  His highlight performance came against now No. 10 Wichita State on Sunday evening as he lit up the Shockers for 27 points in the second half to finish with a career-high 37.  The maroon and gray nearly dug out of a 16-point halftime deficit against the unbeaten Shockers, who managed to hold on for a 77-66 victory.  With his 7-for-13 (53.8 percent) performance from behind-the-arc, Ingram joined an illustrious class of Eagles (MarQus Johnson, Shawn Ray, Michael Hadley, LeVelle Moton, and Landon Clement) who all hit at least seven three-pointers in a game.  The nation's third leading scorer at 24.6 points a game has scored in double figures in 50 games during his career, dropped-in 20-plus points on 15 occasions and is now No. 26 on the all-time scoring list at NCCU with 1,063 points, needing 11 to tie Clifton Daye (1990-93) with 1,074 career points to move into the Top-25.  Not to be overshadowed, earlier in the week NCCU beat Winthrop after an 11-day layoff 72-66, which was also led by Ingram's game-high 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting.  This honor marks the third time in the last two years Ingram has earned that recognition.

"POOBIE" MOVING UP ALL-TIME STEALS LIST
Senior point guard Emanuel Chapman is No. 1 all-time in assists and is currently moving up the charts in the steals category.  Chapman has recorded 127 thefts in his four seasons at NCCU which places him tied with NCCU great Jimmie Walker (1992-94), needing eight to tie Stanley Melvin (1974-78) for seventh all-time.
