DURHAM, N.C. – The Heritage Sports Radio Network has announced that they will carry North Carolina Central University's next two hardwood matchups against No. 9/11 Wichita State (Sunday, Dec. 22 8:00 p.m.) and Maryland (Tuesday, Dec. 31 2:00 p.m.) on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and 17 terrestrial affiliates across the nation.
Sunday's second matchup between the Eagles and the Shockers can be heard on SiriusXM Channel 110, along with the normal broadcast setup. Tipoff from Charles Koch Arena on Dec. 22 is slated for 8:00 p.m. HSRN's coverage will begin 30 minutes prior to tipoff.
The other contest will be the final contest for the maroon and gray in the calendar year of 2013 as the Eagles head up to College Park, Md. to battle the Maryland Terrapins. That contest is slated for a 1:45 p.m. airtime from the Comcast Center and will also be broadcasted on ESPN3.
The terrestrial radio stations that will carry the game stretch from WAUG 750 AM in Raleigh, N.C., all the way to WBOK 1230 AM in New Orleans, La., making the broadcast truly nationwide for fans to tune in.
The Denny's of Durham Pregame Show begins on Sunday at 7:45 p.m. from Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kan. Play-by-play voice of the NCCU Sports Network Chris Hooks will call all the live action of the contest. Listed below are the terrestrial radio stations carrying the next two games for NCCU.
