EAGLE TALK: MEAC BASEBALL TOURNAMENT EDITION (Broadcast Link)
DURHAM, N.C. – With the North Carolina Central University baseball team qualifying for postseason play in year one at the NCAA’s Division I level, the NCCU Sports Network announces that it will air a “MEAC Baseball Tournament Edition” of Eagle Talk at Champps inside the Streets of Southpoint in Durham, N.C. from 1:30-2:00 p.m.
Play-by-play voice of the NCCU Sports Network Chris Hooks will host the special edition of the show as he and NCCU head baseball coach Jim Koerner will preview the 2012 MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Baseball Tournament which will begin on Wednesday, May 16 and end on Sunday, May 20 at Norfolk State’s Marty Miller Field in Norfolk, Va. Hooks will unveil the tournament brackets and talk with Koerner about his first season at the helm and the success this program had under his tutelage in year one. Members of the NCCU baseball team will also be on the show to talk about their first year as an official member of the MEAC.
