On Sunday, March 4, the NCCU Cheerleaders and Mascot will participate in the MEAC Cheerleading Championship at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and the cost is $5 per person.

NCCU will perform an exhibition routine following the competition routine by the 2011 MEAC Cheerleading Champions, Morgan State University. The time for the NCCU performance is scheduled for 5:40 p.m.

"Eddie the Eagle" will go head-to-head with other MEAC mascots at 6:50 p.m.
