HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – In the final day of the Spring Tennis Fest for the North Carolina Central women's team, the Eagles were unable to complete their match with George Washington on Thursday morning due to rain.
NCCU (3-6) was ahead in all three doubles matches before the downpour set in, forcing the match between the Eagles and Revolutionaries to be called.
George Washington (5-7) will face a familiar foe next, hosting Howard on March 19 in Washington, D.C.
The Eagles will return to the Nest to prepare to host Hampton on Wednesday, March 18 at 11 a.m. at the NCCU Tennis Courts.
