NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central's men's tennis team has been predicted to finish second in the 2026 MEAC Tennis Preseason Poll, as voted on by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.
The Maroon & Gray collected 54 points, with only South Carolina State ahead with 64 points. Norfolk State claimed third at 37 points.
Morgan State sits fourth (34 points) as Howard (30 points) and Coppin State (12 points) conclude the poll.
NCCU opens the season at No.17 Duke on Sunday, Jan. 18 at the Sheffield Tennis Center beginning at 5 p.m.
