NCCU Women’s Basketball Releases MEAC Schedule

DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central officially announced its 2025-26 women's basketball conference schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The MEAC slate features seven of 14 games at home inside McDougald-McLendon Arena, including matchups against three teams that advanced to a major postseason tournament. Defending champion Norfolk State was in the NCAA Tournament and both Howard and Coppin State appeared in the WNIT.

Starting this season, the Eagles will face MEAC opponents on Thursdays and Saturdays. Tip-off on Thursday will be 6:30 p.m. except for the South Carolina State game on March 5, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday's games - part of a men's and women's doubleheader - will begin at 2 p.m.

The home schedule includes matchups against Norfolk State (Jan. 3), Howard (Jan. 17), Maryland Eastern Shore (Jan. 22), Delaware State (Jan. 24), Morgan State (Feb. 12), Coppin State (Feb. 14) and South Carolina State (March 5).

The Eagles will travel to Morgan State (Jan. 8), Coppin State (Jan. 10), South Carolina State (Jan. 31), Norfolk State (Feb. 7), Howard (Feb. 21), Maryland Eastern Shore (Feb. 26) and Delaware State (Feb. 28). The MEAC Tournament will be at the Norfolk Scope Arena in Norfolk, Va., on March 11-14.
