DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central begins the 2025 fall men's golf season at the Blue Hen Intercollegiate in Wilmington, Del., on Monday, Sept. 15. The two-day tournament begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start both days at White Clay Creek Country Club.

PARTICIPANTS
The Eagles will be one of 12 teams competing in the par 72, 7,007-yard course layout. The other teams are host Delaware, Binghamton, Bucknell, Goldey-Beacom, Maryland Eastern Shore, Monmouth, Rider, Shepherd, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure and Western Illinois. The format is 54-hole stroke play with teams playing 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

HUTCHISON HEADS SEVEN NCCU RETURNEES
The Eagles return all seven golfers from last season including Jamal Hutchison, an All-Northeast Conference first team selection. The NCCU junior is the first Eagle to make the All-NEC team in school history. He leads a solid nucleus that includes Jalen Brown, Clay Green, Kyle Gregory, Kobe Narcisse, Hershal Patel and Ben Wade.

NEWCOMERS
Three golfers have been added to the NCCU roster for the 2025-26 season. They are Christian Fisher, Nico Tucker and Mateo Zolezzi. Tucker and Zolezzi come from Aurora and West Virginia Wesleyan, respectively, and Fisher is a freshman.

HEAD COACH
Kendall Wallace enters his second season as Eagles' head coach. A former NCCU standout golfer, Wallace is also the women's head golf coach.
