Her 32 points against Maryland Eastern Shore on Jan. 11 tied for the most in a single game by an MEAC player this season. Bryant scored in double figures 19 of 28 games including six games of 20 or more points.
Tiggett lands on the All-MEAC Defensive team for the first time after leading the conference in blocks for the second consecutive season. She averages 2.3 blocks per game which ranks 14th nationally and her 60 blocks ranks 24th in the nation. Tiggett started 11 of 26 games during the regular season which makes her achievements even more impressive.
Tiggett recorded a season-high six blocks each in three games during the regular season. No other MEAC player blocked six shots in a game this season. Her blocking prowess earned Tiggett defensive player of the week three times this season. She also scored a career-high 20 points in a Delaware State win on Jan. 13 and corralled 13 rebounds in a victory over Pfeiffer on Jan. 23.
Foster was selected to the MEAC All-Rookie team after averaging 10.5 points and 1.4 steals. Her scoring average is second among freshmen on the MEAC All-Rookie Team. The NCCU guard tied for the second-most rookie of the week awards this season with three.
