NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central forward
Morgan Callahan was named MEAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on Monday after an impressive stat line last week.
Callahan finished with 10 rebounds and a career-high six steals to go along with 13 points in keying the Eagles to a 66-53 home victory over UNC Asheville on Thursday, Nov. 13. The double-double was the first this season and the 20
th of her career.

Aniya Finger both posted double-doubles in the UNCA win. It was the second time in their careers that both players had double-doubles in points and rebounds in the same contest.
Callahan, a Beach Park, Ill., native, is tied for third in rebounding (7.3) and ranks second in minutes played per game (35.7) in the MEAC. She ranks 32
nd among NCAA Division I players in minutes played per contest.
