DURHAM, N.C. – For the second straight season, junior Kennedy Hill defeated her singles opponent from East Carolina University, but the Pirates were victorious 6-1 over North Carolina Central University on Saturday afternoon.

In doubles competition, NCCU (0-5) dropped two of three matches.
