In honor of Women's History Month, North Carolina Central University Director of Athletics Dr. Ingrid Wicker McCree led an initiative to shine a light on the professional accomplishments of former NCCU student-athletes.

2000-2007- CTE Teacher (Durham Public Schools and Wake County Public Schools); 2007-2017 - Assistant Principal (Wake County Public Schools); 2017-2021-  HR Human Capital Partner (Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools); 2021 - Present - Director, Human Resources (Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools); 2015 - Present - President/ CEO - PBM Enterprises LLC - Educational and Business Consulting; 2017 - Present - President/CEO - P4P Corporation - Non-Profit; 2010 - Finalist Assistant Principal of the Year (Wake County Public Schools); 2016 - Finalist Assistant Principal of the Year (Wake County Public Schools); 2017 - Inducted into the Alex M. Rivera NCCU Athletics Hall of Fame. As of 2021, still hold the NCAA Division II record for Stolen Bases Per Game 85 in 29 games 2.93 Avg. and Stolen Base Percentage 65 out of 65 in 1993 Perfect Season.

Awarded scholarships to the first three recipients of the Mellissa Thomas Craig Annual Cheerleading Scholarship.

Digital content creator - curating campaigns for companies such as Walgreens, Curls, Walmart, Palmer's; Founder of Jori Chioma Collection an eCommerce store for healthy hair care.

Michelle Harris Harrison, Basketball & Softball, 1998; 1999; 2002, 6th grade science teacher; head middle school basketball and softball coach; 23rd year of teaching.
Michelle Harrison was a two sport standout at NCCU.  She scored 1,448 points during her basketball career.  She also had 512 rebounds, 303 assists and 382 steals.  In 1999 Harrison was voted into the CIAA 25th Anniversary Women's Basketball Team and was inducted into the CIAA Hall of Fame.  She was also selected to be a guest speaker at the Hall of Fame Banquet.  Harrison became one of the top players in NCCU's school history and was inducted into the NCCU Alex M. Rivera Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 for basketball and softball.  Today, a replica of Harrison's #20 basketball jersey hangs from the rafters in the McDougald-McLendon Arena.  Harrison excelled on the diamond as well and was named player of the year in 1998, while leading her team to the school's first CIAA Softball Championship.  Harrison's career batting average was .537.  Harrison was also a member of the Commissioner's All-Academic Team. Harrison has been a public school teacher for 23 years.  During these years, she has mentored, coached, volunteered and helped shape the lives of our youth.  Harrison also excelled on the football field after college while playing tackle football for the Roanoke Revenge football team.  Harrison was a speedy running back, safety and she played on special teams. Harrison is married to Clarence Harris (former Aggie football linebacker) and she is the proud mom and aunt of her most prized possessions, her son (Gavin), daughter (Aniya) and nephew (Jaden).  Harrison gives all credit for her success in life to God and her mother Margaret Harrison.  Harrison is very thankful for the support system that she has always had from her wonderful family and coaches!  Harrison is a PROUD EAGLE and her children carry on her legacy by honoring their mother by proudly wearing the #20!

Blair Houston, Basketball, 2012, Sports Marketing - Washington Wizards - Fan Development Manager
Orchestrated Arizona State WBB campaign that tied the single game attendance record in 2019; Orchestrated Arizona State SB campaign that ranked 8th nationally and surpassed ticket sales revenue record by $25K.
