DURHAM, N.C. – For consecutive semesters, North Carolina Central University student-athletes have matched a department-record 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) following the Fall 2025 semester.
Of the 285 Eagles, 217 earned a cumulative GPA higher than 3.0, representing 76.1 percent of NCCU's student-athlete population. During the fall term, 46 student-athletes posted a perfect 4.0 semester GPA, while 19 maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
Women's tennis led all programs during the fall semester with a team GPA of 3.88. Men's tennis followed with a 3.73 GPA, while women's golf posted a 3.69 GPA.
Those same three programs also ranked in the top three for cumulative GPA. Men's tennis led with a 3.83 cumulative GPA, followed by women's tennis at 3.72 and women's golf at 3.64.
