DURHAM, N.C. — The North Carolina Central University softball program has announced its fall schedule for 2021 with the Eagles slated to play three contests on two dates within The Triangle area in early October.
All games play by the NCCU softball team during its fall schedule are exhibitions and they will not count towards NCCU's record during its competitive season in the spring.
The Eagles are returning to the Avenging Angel Fall Classic hosted by Meredith College at Thomas Brook Park in Cary, North Carolina, on Saturday, Oct. 2, and will play two games that day. NCCU will first face Pitt Community College at 10 a.m., before playing host Meredith at 5:30 p.m.
There will be a gate fee for spectators at the Avenging Angel Fall Classic of $10 per day for anyone over 10 years of age ($8 for senior citizens).
NC Central softball will conclude its fall slate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Wednesday, Oct. 13. The Eagles clash against the Tar Heels at UNC's Anderson Stadium will have no entry fee.
