GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five North Carolina Central student-athletes were named to the Division I Academic All-District softball team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday.

The Eagles selected were Janea Hudson, Elana Krupey, Madeline Janssen, Simone Mack and Tyler Suttles. Each player met the criteria of maintaining at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, participating in 90 percent or starting in 66 percent of the team's games and being at least a sophomore athletically and academically.

The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District teams recognized the nation's top student-athletes in NCAA Divisions I, II and III and NAIA for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
