Taylor Williams will be a junior wing from Daytona Beach, Florida, who is transferring in from College of Charleston. Williams played in 45 games for the Cougars over the past two seasons, averaging 8.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, including nearly one made 3-pointer per contest. Williams garnered Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) All-Rookie Team honors in 2019-20. In high school, Williams averaged 15 points, 5.6 assists and 5.2 steals per game at Father Lopez Catholic High School on the way to earning first team all-area and Region 7A Player of the Year. She helped her team reach the state final four and also was a track and field standout.
"Taylor is a player who uses her athleticism to her advantage on both ends of the court," said Stafford-Odom. "Her quickness is different, and she has the innate ability to fill multiple categories on the stat sheet. Taylor anticipates and jumps passing lanes supremely well, and will be key in triggering our defensive to offensive transition. I am excited and comfortable knowing Taylor plays with great pace and can score points in bunches, in various ways."
