McKnight averaged 10 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in January as NCCU started Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play 5-2 in the first month of the New Year. He shot 46.2-percent from the field and was second on the team in minutes played per game (28.3).

The resident of North Miami, Florida, started in all 34 games in 2018-19 and scored double-digit points in wins against Bethune-Cookman University, Delaware State University and Morgan State University in January.

McKnight, who averaged 9.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, helped the Eagles repeat as MEAC champions and return to the NCAA Tournament for a third straight season. In his final collegiate game, McKnight had a hot hand making four 3-pointers on the way to 20 points in narrow First Four loss to North Dakota State University.
