In the most dramatic match of the day, Miller outlasted junior Oriane Thompson on the fourth court. Miller's 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) victory was her first dual match win since transferring to NCCU this season.
Berghaus first put the Lady Eagles on the board by coasting to straight-set win from the second position in the maroon and gray lineup. Berghaus disposed of sophomore Alexus Gill by a score of 6-0, 6-3 for her second win.
Rogers and Sakharova tallied their second straight conquest as partners from atop NCCU's doubles lineup. They picked up a 6-2 win over Gill and Faluke.
However, Thompson/Rooke and Santiago/Yehouenou won the other doubles bouts to give the visitors the first team point.
NCCU (0-12) returns to MEAC Southern Division play when the Lady Eagles entertain rival North Carolina A&T State University on Wednesday at Noon.
