Lynsey Cover and
Tamara Jeremic played their final home match in a North Carolina Central University uniform on Saturday as the Lady Eagles lost a 6-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Southern Division dual match against Bethune-Cookman University.
The pair of Academic All-MEAC honorees have played in a combined 135 matches for NCCU.

Junior
Jamie Rogers highlighted play for the Lady Eagles, forcing a third-set against the reigning MEAC Player of the Year. Senior Mina Matsuba eventually knocked off Rogers by a 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 margin.
Both teams only had five active players due to injuries so No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles were not contested.
NCCU (2-16, 1-4) was eliminated from MEAC postseason consideration with the loss. The Lady Eagles will conclude their regular season with two non-conference road matches, starting with a visit to UNC Wilmington on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
