Dear NCCU Eagles Fan,
 
I take this opportunity to express my most sincere thanks for your support of our 2016-2017 North Carolina Central University men's basketball team throughout their historic 25-win campaign - capturing the MEAC regular-season title, bringing home the MEAC Tournament championship, and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. Without a doubt we have soared to great heights and are still riding on the winds that our team has positioned our university on a local, regional, state and national platform.
 
There are no greater alumni/fans/supporters than the NCCU Eagles! From your continuous attendance at our games to your hosting of "watch parties" during NCCU's nationally-televised appearance in March Madness; and through donating your time and financial resources to support our program, I am indeed thankful.
 
Our young men have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of Eagle Pride throughout the season. They are so appreciative of the love and support given to them during the 2017 MEAC Tournament, and they have shared how much it meant to them to win the championship game in front of the best fans in the world!
