DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University men's basketball senior guard
Dajuan Graf has been named the NCCU Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2016 in recognition of his outstanding performance during the final month of the year.
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Graf averaged 14.4 points, 4.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds in eight December games.
The 6-0, 185-pound guard scored a career-high 26 points and distributed seven assists with three rebounds and a steal in a home win over Truett McConnell on Dec. 28. He closed out the month with a 22-point, seven-rebound, five-assist effort in the Eagles' victory against Montreat on Dec. 30.
Graf is majoring in psychology at NCCU and is on track to graduate in May. After pursuing a professional basketball career overseas, he plans to open up his own business.
