DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University men's basketball head coach LeVelle Moton has announced that University of North Carolina men's basketball head coach Roy Williams will serve as the special guest speaker at the inaugural NCCU Men's Basketball Tip-Off Banquet & Auction on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in McDougald-McLendon Arena.
 
"I'm honored that a Hall of Famer (Coach Roy Williams) has agreed to speak at our inaugural tipoff banquet," Moton said. "I'm excited that this event will serve as a fundraiser to provide additional resources for our basketball program. I look forward to our fans, as well as fans throughout the Triangle, getting an opportunity to mingle and enjoy the night."
 
Dinner tickets are $75. Tables are available for purchase at $525 for an eight-person table, $675 for a 10-person table and $1,000 for a VIP table. In addition, gallery tickets – upper level seating without dinner – are available for $40.
