LIVE STATS SERIES: Savannah State has won the last six meetings against NCCU to take over the all-time series lead at 11-7. The Lady Tigers last knocked off the Lady Eagles, 57-39, on Jan. 11, 2016 in Savannah, Georgia. SSU's Tiyonda Davis flirted with a triple-double after posting 12 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks for the victors.
Morgan Jones led NCCU with 11 points. The Lady Tigers made 13 steals and only committed 10 turnovers.
NCCU (4-21, 2-12) suffered its ninth straight MEAC loss on Saturday – a 62-50 road loss at Bethune-Cookman – to fall into a tie for last place in the league. The Lady Eagles have still pulled down as many rebounds as their opponents this season (984-984) despite being outrebounded by 14 by the Wildcats. Senior

Dominique Adams (5.2) are both averaging about five points per contest.
SSU (9-16, 6-8) is coming off its most dominating MEAC win of the season, a 62-39 home triumph over South Carolina State. The defending MEAC champions have won three of their last four games to move up to 9th place in the league standings. However, six of Savannah State's nine wins have come at home (3-11 on the road). Junior Kenyata Hendrix leads the Lady Tigers with 12.4 points per game. A quartet of SSU junior's average just over six points per game in Chelsea Frazier (6.7), Tiyonda Davis (6.6), Jeremica Edwards (6.6) and Rhianna Warren (6.1). Davis also has team-best averages of 8.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game.
