Kristin Askew will be honored before tipoff as the North Carolina Central University women's basketball team celebrates Senior Day. The Lady Eagles will then play Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) foe Bethune-Cookman University at 2 p.m.

Deja McCain had her best performance yet with season-high marks of nine points and 11 rebounds. Junior
Morgan Jones leads NCCU with 11.1 points, 2.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Dixon paces the Lady Eagles on the backboards with 7.3 rebounds per contest. Jones and senior
Kristin Askew (7.3 points/game) both rank in the top-15 of the MEAC in made 3-pointers per game. Freshman
Dominique Adams tops NCCU's reserves with 5.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
B-CU (14-9, 8-2) has won four straight games and eight of its last 10 to move into a tie for first place in the MEAC standings. Bethune-Cookman leads the league in field goal percentage (40.1%), defensive points allowed per game (57.0), rebounding margin (+1.6) and blocks per game (4.7). Junior center Kailyn Williams averages 11.5 points per game and is a defensive force for the Wildcats leading the league in blocks (3.1 bpg) and ranking second in rebounds (9.3 rpg). Junior guard Kendra Cooper averages 2.5 3-pointers per game for a team-best 15.6 points per game. Senior Jasmine Knowles tops the conference with 4.3 assists per game.
